Power Systems is proud to introduce our latest innovation: FLEXware, the
next evolution of balance-of-system components.
We listened to our integrating partners,
installers in the field and system owners. We took their suggestions and
improved our product, from knockouts and breaker locations to more
shared parts for easier ordering and stocking.
FLEXware is better integrated, modular,
and more spacious than any of our previous metal hardware. Components
are more versatile, theres more space for wiring, and the all-aluminum,
powder-coated construction is highly corrosion resistant for an
installation that looks great even longer.
Installers can satisfy a large variety of
applications by using FLEXware with OutBack's Modular power electronics
. FLEXware 250
offers a
solution for AC and DC disconnects in single inverter/charger
installations when space and budget are primary concerns. FLEXware 500
supports up to two inverter/ chargers and two charge controllers in an
attractive, versatile and code-compliant package when split-phase and/or
higher power output is needed. FLEXware 1000 accommodates up to four
inverter/ chargers and four charge controllers. Both FLEXware 500 and
FLEXware 1000 provide locations for auto-transformers, multiple DC
shunts and other items required in high power applications.
The new FLEXware MP mounting plate shows
the true versatility of FLEXware with its compatibility on both FW500
and FW1000 systems. All of the FLEXware options and accessories have
been redesigned and simplified, replacing multiple models with fewer,
more universal solutions.
FLEXware offers more application
versatility than ever before - from the simplest of back-up power
systems to a large 36 kW vill age power systems with multiple power
sources such as PV, wind, hydro and back-up generators. With OutBack

FLEXware 250

 For
applications with modest power requirements such as cabins,
remote communication sites and back-up power systems. The all
aluminum FLEXware 250 accommodates all of the essential
protective devices in the smallest possible space at the lowest
installed cost. Utilizing an extremely compact design and unique
mounting features, up to two FLEXware 250 can be mounted on
either side of a single FX series inverter/charger.
The ETL listed powder coated enclosure provides breaker spaces for
battery, PV array or PV GFP breakers and mounting locations for AC GFCI
outlet and AC breakers. In keeping with the philosophy of FLEXware,
FLEXware 250 flexibility is evident in the generous number of knock-outs
allowing the connection of conduit, cable glands and other installation

power requirements such as homes, light commercial or back-up power
systems.
The FLEXware 500 accommodates all of the
essential protective devices in two easy-to-install enclosures. The
FW500-AC and FX500-DC are both designed to allow mounting in either a
horizontal or vertical orientation to allow easier installation in space
limited locations.
The FW500 system uses a single
FLEXware MP
mounting plate and one set of the optional DCA and ACA conduit adapters
for each FX inverter installed.
As with all of the FLEXware systems
order the necessary DC and AC breakers, AC input-output-bypass kits and
all other additional components separately.

is a one piece, powder coated aluminum mounting plate for FW500 and
FW1000 systems. The FW-MP make installation quick and easy by including
all of the necessary stainless steel hardware to mount both the AC and
DC enclosures, inverter/chargers and breakers. A single FW-MP
accommodates a complete FLEXware 500 system.

power systems.
The FLEXware 1000 accommodates all of
the required protective devices in two enclosures with room for
additional breakers and large AC and DC cable connections. The FW1000-AC
and FW1000-DC enclosures are both designed to allow mounting in either a
horizontal or vertical orientation to provide more installation
flexibility and easier wiring connections. The FW1000 system uses two
FLEXware MP mounting plates and one set of
the optional DCA and ACA conduit adapters for each FX inverter
installed.
As with all of the FLEXware systems
order the necessary DC and AC breakers, AC input-output-bypass kits and
all other additional components separately.

Utilizing stainless steel mounting hardware, the integrated locating
bolts make installation quick and easy by providing guides to line up
enclosures and inverter/chargers. A single FLEXware MP is designed to
accommodate FLEXware 500 while two FLEXware MP utilized in a FLEXware
