About Us
We are a small family owned business owned by Linda Wolff and myself, Terry Wolff. I have been personally involved as solar user since the 1970’s and we became solar energy product suppliers in 2003 when we took over Taos Green Solar which was established in 1992. In 2008 we stopped doing solar installs so I could concentrate on my Custom Woodcarving Business, our Solar Ranch and retail solar sales.
Our solar business name is Solar Taos and we work hard to keep
this on-line catalog as accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that our prices, product specifications or details are always current, as these change sometimes without our knowledge.

This catalog is a small family retail business which is owned by Linda and Terry Wolff. We have been living and working with solar since the mid 70's. I started solar installations in 1972 on motor homes, van, bus conversions and boats. In 2003 I left Taos Mountain Electronics to start Taos Solar, LLC. Sharing my solar knowledge and to become more active in Solar Energy field. In 2008 we decided to cut back on doing installations so I could concentrate more time on my art as a professional woodcarver and sculptor.
We still offer an extensive line of solar related products which we have either personal experience with or feel are of very good quality. From time to time we will add or remove products from our offering. If there is a product you need and is not available on this web site, we will make every attempt to track it down for you. We offer you the best prices we can. We do not stock most items, we work directly with manufacturers and our many suppliers. All our products are shipped USPS Priority Mail, UPS ground, or by freight.
